We were delighted when we found that the Cotswold Company still sold the identical cushions to ones we needed to replace after several years - and that they were in the sale too.
How disappointed we were to find both damaged on receipt. One with a slash across it and the other with with patches of worn fabric, as if it had rubbed against something rough. Either they had been stored badly and then not been subjected to any quality check whatsoever or they had been damaged in transit. The latter was quite possible as they were only put into a plastic bag which did not afford any protection at all to such delicate velour fabric.
Even more devastating I’d that the line has been discontinued and we are unable to purchase any more of the cushions, which are a perfect match for our decor. All because the Cotswold Company either didn’t store or didn’t package the cushions properly in the first place.
Really unacceptable and I hope lessons will be learnt from this by all concerned.
