The 2-Star Quality rating is actually high. The low Quality rating is for the following reasons: 1. The “ripples” in the rug, so it does not hug the floor, and 2. The material used is very stiff & sharp when walking on it in your bare feet. The low Value rating is because it will be rolled up after writing this review and not used.
The Cotswold Company reply:
Thank you for taking the time to share this feedback. We're sorry to hear the Sisal Linen Rug 160x230cm hasn't met your expectations, particularly around the rippling that's stopping it from lying flat, and the texture feeling stiff and sharp underfoot. We completely understand why this has affected your experience and rating. We've since been in touch with you directly to look into this further and find the best way to put things right. If there's anything further you need in the meantime, please don't hesitate to reach out to us. Best wishes, Jessica Sculfor Executive Complaints Advisor

This is a nice rug. Feels a bit harder than expected but looks lovely in the house. It is brand new and I can already see that the linen is starting to feel the burden of 2 young children (and dog) running over it all the time (it's starting to show loose threads), so it probably fits better in a section of the house where people walk less.
