My review for this could have been wonderful - I have wanted this unit for years and finally had just the right place to put it. However, after 3 complete disasters-delivery men not instructed to assemble as requested, broken parts, wrong parts delivered, I I finally gave up and cancelled the order. Now very disappointed with the Cotswold Company and will be looking elsewhere for a unit for my lounge. Such a shame.

Our first delivery contained a quite badly damaged top section for the unit so we could not assemble it straight away leaving us with three very large boxes to store. When contacting customer service they were apologetic but could not organise an exchange until a week later. This left our study unusable as it was full of the boxes. When the new delivery arrived the delivery company guys were very co-operative, unloading the new unit and removing the old along with all the packaging. Having assembled the unit we are slightly disappointed with the overall quality, the fit of the cornice section and the shelves are not perfect which is a shame and distracts from the overall impression of the piece which is not inexpensive. We have used the company on a number of other occasions and to be fair have usually been delighted with the quality of the pieces and the service. Could do better Cotswold Company

When it eventually arrived without damage it looks great - the first delivery team sent an email the night they were supposed to deliver stating their vehicle had broken down! Considering I paid for an extra £20 for the next day service and they then could only offer me 2 days later was not impressed. Raised with Cotswolds and they did process the £20 charge. When opened two main features were damaged and the hassle of sorting it was a headache. I realised that the furniture actually comes from China, not aware of this as the advert and site make you believe it is the Cotswolds or at least the UK! I was informed that I couldn't just request the two damaged items to be delivered but a completely new unit. The 2nd delivery was a different courier service and they couldn't have been more helpful and one of the agents from Cotswolds was also very helpful and she offered me no charge for quicker delivery and for the carrier company to put the 2nd unit together. The units are delivered in two pieces and you can clearly see the middle unit is different but I couldn't be bothered to get this sent back. Slight discoloration on one of the back boards but with items inside it isn't noticeable
