Delivery was a nightmare. First we got delivered one with a broken back panel. It was relatively smooth to request a replacement and all that communication was handled well. Although I don't understand why they couldn't send a quality checked product the first time. It was really hard for us to place the broken one back in packagimg. The two guys that came for collection were extremely rude. They had no mask and didn't even bother to ask if we were okay with them coming in and kept coming really near to us. They flatly said they can't pick up from the room although the email clearly said 'room of choice'. I had to remind them of the email and that other team of the same company delivered in the same room. They kept mentioning not having insurance to do so. In the end they agreed to do it but they were very rough with their handling of the furniture and surrounding household items. Very very disappointing compared to the delivery team earlier. I will be very reluctant to order again from Cotswold.
I had wanted oak but out of my price range so after viewing this grand bookcase I went for it and so glad I did. It is impressive and is tall strong and wide and deep.It fills our fire recess perfectly with space for plugs.Comes with safety wall fixing so very safe around the grand children but takes so many books that I don't think it will be moving anywhere fast.It looks good and the shelves are generously thick Not too high that it over dominates our average lounge but still looks expensive.Room on top for some special glassware and out of the way of little fingers.All in all I would give it 5 / 5 for style & design and quality of material and craftsmanship. It matches our solid oak floor so that is a bonus colour wise. Arrived next day and delivered by two very polite men who inspected & photographed the box as they carried it into our integral garage. Would have removed the wrapping for a nominal fee but we were happy to unpack and do what had to be done ourselves.In in all a happy experience and our second with the Cotswold company and we will be coming back again for bedroom furniture within the next 2 years. Yes two very happy 70+ customers.
