Shelves need more space between them! You can't even fit an a4 folder on them and very few of my textbooks fit. Would be fine for a living room with small reading books but no good for an office with anything larger than a5 size books or folders.

Well made bookcase in VERY dark navy (made darker by being situated in a 'shady' alcove in our case) I ordered a sample so knew what to expect but it looks lighter online so beware ......... the wooden top is substantial and has some 'age' to it ..................we are very happy with it although I debated quite a long while over the price tag but could find nothing to compare and as we have just moved house and needed shelving ASAP we decided not to wait for discounts or Ebay !

This bookshelf was just what I wanted, it fitted nicely into the alcove I had ready for it. The bookshelf was better than expected, a very solid piece of furniture, painted blue I was exceptionally please with it.
