It is a lovely looking piece of furniture ,but had deep scratches on the top and along the door.

The shape, colour and size were exactly right and it is solid. The definition of distressed is not very clear and when we challenged the amount and degree of marks we were disappointed with the response. We sent photos but were told by the company the marks fitted their description. This from the supplier is obviously not independent. We won't buy products with that description again.
