This is a good, sturdy piece of furniture - we have it in our hall and it looks good. We think the Cotswold Company could use a delivery service which provides a more specific delivery time - having a 12 hour window of delivery isn't great, especially when competitors are providing a much better service (we had something delivered recently from another company and we received texts telling us how long it would be before item was delivered). I did feed this back on the phone to Cotswold but got the impression that they weren't that interested and didn't see it as a problem. I wouldn't order from them again on this basis which is a shame as I like a lot of the items online.
There is a small dent on the top piece at the front, did not want the aggrevation of changing it. So not 100% happy.
We have contacted this customer to apologise for the slight damage, and as they have decided to keep this item we are in the process of agreeing a goodwill gesture as compensation.
Very cheap construction. Drawers don't fit we'll, parts missing, bad chemical smell lingering long after the product opened, cheap patchy paint. Wouldn't recommend buying online without looking first. Very inflexible delivery terms. On the whole a regrettable experience
