Pine was slightly dented in a few spots and we received some money off as it wasn't worth sending back. I guess pine is soft and easily damaged despite being well packed. CS dealt with the matter quickly and to our satisfaction

Really pleased with this dressing table set. Stool is nice and sturdy, the finish is lovely and was easy to put together and it looks fab in my bedroom with my older pine furniture.
