Partially assembled was a bit of an over statement. The doors were attached to front panel but everything else is flat pack. However it was easy to assemble

This is the fourth time I have sent my comments and it is becoming tedious. Up to the point of delivery I was very pleased and I like the wardrobe very much but the delivery did spoil the overall effect. I am on the top floor of a Victorian house and the two strong young men who arrived at 6.30 pm on a Friday were rather alarmed to discover I was not on the ground floor. They managed to get the wardrobe to the second floor but said they couldn’t get it up the last flight of stairs because of the bend. I have a door opposite mine which I said I could open to get a different angle, but they said that wouldn’t work. I asked if the box could be opened and the pieces taken up separately but was told they were not allowed to open the box so they took a photo of it and scuttled rapidly off. I am a 74 year old woman and live alone. The next morning I opened the box and the opposite door and took the wardrobe up in pieces. It took longer to dispose of the packaging. So maybe more training for the delivery men? I was assured that the wardrobe would be “popped into a room of my choice”. Also neither man wore a mask.

I cancelled this order due to the fact that your carrier would not deliver the two wardrobes to the first floor of my house. In fact they proposed to leave them outside my front door. To say I was somewhat surprised by this is an understatement. I fail to see how I am supposed to heft two large, heavy objects up a flight and a half of stairs. In other purchases from your company the carrier has delivered the goods to the room in which they will be situated and removed packaging from my house. I am now, eight days after cancellation still awaiting a full refund from you and that is also not good enough!
