a lovely wardrobe ,solid and nice to look at. very pleased, this is the second wardrobe bought by us from you.
I love my wardrobe. It looked great in the showroom, it's just a shame the one that was delivered to me was not of the same quality. The employees of the third party delivery company that Cotswold employ claimed that they were only use to delivering refrigerators and had no idea how to assemble a wardrobe, so I was left to put it together myself. Not a difficult task but not what I was led to believe when I purchased the item. It was as I assembled the wardrobe that I noticed a series of oily black marks on the door and one side panel. It looked like the chain of the bicycle of the person packing the item had come off on his journey to work and his hands were still dirty. Having suppled images of the damage to the Customer Service team initially they were very responsive, however, I'm still awaiting a decision from them as to how they are going to replace the damaged panel. "Could you take another day off work?" Come on Cotswold you can't be selling premium priced products that are wholly let down by poor quality control processes, poor third party delivery companies and a Customer Service team whose first instinct is to try and buy you off with cash payment to accept damaged goods. I want a wardrobe like the one I saw in the showroom. Is that too much to ask?
Hello Chris, thank you for taking your time to leave this review. Please accept my sincere apologies for the inconvenience caused on this matter, I can see that my colleague has responded to your email and is resolving this issue for you. If you have any more questions please let me know.
quite good build quality. one support on the inside appears to have had on a single coat of paint, but otherwise no problems. surprised they don't include simple build instructions. biggest complaint is of the delivery partner, who got my wife to sign a blank screen, then later filled it in to say we refused unpacking and removal of packaging, which is a bit sneaky. and a pain as there's a lot of polystyrene and cardboard.
