The spindle back chairs are lovely quality - large, solidly built and beautifully spray painted in a subtle milky cream (slightly paler than the photo suggests). Unfortunately I had a bit of an issue with the first table delivered with the chairs, as the whitewash lacquer on the table top gave a laminated effect with a slightly grey hue and started to chip off after a month. Cotswold established this was a manufacturing fault and replaced it with one which looks exactly like the website pictures - a pinky whitewash with a slight sheen over natural woodgrain. A very nice looking dining set which I would say is ideal for use in a kitchen/breakfast area.
