I was impressed by the other reviews of this product and that influenced my decision to buy it. To be fair, for the price it's ok, but it's not solid wood - it appears to be a mixture of wood, veneers, chipboard and MDF and the back is stapled on. I prefer solid wood and good joinery.
I kept it for the simple reason that I'd taken it to my house in France before unpacking it and wasn't inclined to package it all up and bring it back in order to return it. Otherwise I would have done.
I would not buy it again and I will not be buying any other, similar, items.

The unit itself is exactly what I wanted for my kitchen. However, I sent for a Farmhouse Painted colour swatch and luckily it matched my kitchen units perfectly BUT when the unit was unpacked it was clear that the colour is darker than the colour swatch so now does NOT match my kitchen units and sticks out 'like a sore thumb'. Unfortunately there is not another lighter colour in that design so cannot swap it.
I'm now going to have to paint the whole thing so I'm very disappointed.

Really pleased with my purchase. Good quality throughout especially pleased with the quality of the willow drawers so much that purchased another piece with just willow drawers. I did improve the look of the sideboard with replacing the white handles/knobs with beech ones. That was just my choice.
