“I want to be next to her!” “No, I want to!” Who’d have thought that the politics of who sits where at supper-time could be so fraught – especially when you have guests? This practical, sturdy 4ft bench solves all these problems: stick the kids on the bench and the grown-ups can have all the chairs. Forming part of our Dorchester Pine collection, the bench features curved end supports and rounded corners to the seat. This bench also complements our other pine dining tables. Made from solid pine, the bench has been hand-waxed several times, producing a unique finish.

In order to obtain this finish, the furniture is waxed by hand several times, and as such you may find it has an initial odour upon opening the box, which will disappear after a short period of allowing the furniture to ‘breathe’. Great fit for existing table purchased 18 years ago. Good to have arrived ready assembled. So pleased have bought medium size to fit new square table.
