Upholstered Office Chair - Grey Linen

The chair is nice to look at and more attractive than traditional office chairs - I wanted something for a Covid induced home office station in my bedroom so this seemed ideal - but unfortunately the build quality is not good. It is a very firm seat and due to the design does not offer any lower back support and is therefore just not comfortable to sit on for longer periods of time when working. It would be ok if you just wanted to use it occasionally. To be fair to the Cotswold Company they have responded very quickly to my request to return it so although I'm disappointed with the item and have asked to return it the customer service seems good. ( fingers crossed I will get a speedy collection and refund).

The chair looks lovely and glides across the carpet smoothly. However, I am disappointed that how uncomfortable it is along the front edge of the seat - It is as though more padding is required in this area as the back of my legs above you knee rests on the hard wood frame piece to the front, which makes it very uncomfortable to sit for a length of time. The seat frame also creaks loudly when I move, which doesn't sound great. Its an expensive chair in my opinion and think the quality in the fabric of the design should be a lot better. Feeling somewhat disappointed with my purchase.

Love these guys, the Norfolk store staff are always so helpful. I have filled my new home with Cotswold Company furniture, it’s looks great!
