I have bought lots of Cotswold furniture over the years which has all been very good quality but this set is not up to their usual standard. It’s a dressing table which you’d expect to have a pretty resilient finish just like a desk would have. But the wood has marked badly from just a drop of water falling on it which customer support won’t help me with - not even supplying some wood stain for what is an unusual wood finish. They tell me I can buy some easily - not in Somerset though. And french polishers are a rare breed too.The matching chest of drawers has soft close drawers that don’t shut properly. Online customers services were slow to respond about the stain - let’s hold they sort this issue out a bit better although they wouldn’t respond to my written complaint at all unless I sent a video of the problem. Such a shame to see standards decline in both service and product quality.

Mirror arrived cracked. Contacted via live chat but was advised I needed to email with photos. Have been waiting a week to hear back. Not impressed.
