This is a heavy, thick rug with a raised pattern. It's a beautiful shade of blue. Some of the pictures make it look a bit more grey than it is in reality. There's a bit of variation in the blue which gives it a nice artisan feel. Very happy with it and the price was extremely reasonable for the quality. I have it under a table but to show off the pattern properly it would be great in the middle of a room.
