Full of countryside charm, the Sussex kitchen island is designed for the heart of the home. Two large shelves offer plenty of room for storing pots and pans, while the jointed oak top provides a spacious surface for food prep. Painted in classic Midnight Blue.
Sussex exudes a modern country appeal. Constructed using the strongest traditional joinery, the panels and solid wood frames are layered with our signature four-paint process for a durable finish.

Product looks great, good quality, sturdy.
Delivery good, packaging fantastic.
One issue is, draws do not open smoothly.
Maybe needs some wax on the runners.
Also, the feet are not ideal for hard floors, I had to buy some protective cups.

We are delighted with our Island and it matches perfectly with our kitchen cupboards. The delivery was very good and all the packaging was taken away. The butchers block is a lovely rich colour and the Island also had gliders so it can be moved if necessary. My husband oiled the butchers block with food safe oil from Dunhelm. I would definitely recommend the Cotswold Company and feel even though the Island was expensive, it is good quality.
