This is solid and has a nice finish. We like that each drawer has a simple-to-use twiddly bit at the back, which you can set (or not) to prevent the drawer from being pulled out completely, when in use; a nice touch if it's to be used by children. This chest of drawers is quite compact for fitting into a small space, whilst still having drawers of a useful size. It fits in very well, complementing the neutral decor and making the most of the available space.

Fantastic solid sturdy item for the money. Came very well wrapped so no risk of damage in transit.

I think it should be detailed on product info that the interior of the drawers are not sealed or painted. I experienced wood sap and wood dust which did soil items of clothing in all the drawers. I did mention this to Cotswold and we did eventually come to an amicable solution. Having purchased many items of furniture from the Cotswold company over the last two years there standard of furniture is excellent. I do feel the interior of this particular set of drawers should be finished off with the same painted surface as the exterior to stop any damage to clothing, as is the case in all other furniture I've purchased from them with painted interiors. So please check item description carefully prior to purchase, as most of there range has painted interiors. I kept this product rather than returning it as it fitted neatly into a small area and complemented other bedroom furniture. Hopefully Cotswold will update the item description to mention the drawer interiors so as not to mislead.
