Whilst both frames can accommodate a standard single mattress, the lower mattress should be no thicker than 20cm to allow the trundle to easily roll out.

Happy when delivered. After two weeks of my 2 year old daughter sleeping in the bed we have noticed cracks both sides of the main bed. We have emailed and tried calling to advise of this and not had any acknowledgment.
Considering the price and time had, we are not happy with this purchase never mind the lack of after care.

Great looking bed and is exactly what we need. Seems sturdy and well made. I would say though the white paint marks very easily and the wood seems very soft and easily dented if not careful. I have unfortunately over tightened a couple of bolts on the trundle denting the wood. Hopefully this won’t affect use. Also when adding the wheels to the trundle one of the pre drilled holes was hollow so you couldn’t actually put the screw in. I’ve had to fill the hole as best as I could to be able to put the screw in (not ideal)

We are very pleased with the bed, which gives us a lot more space in the spare room (compared with the previous double), but still has the ability to turn into a double bed if needed.
It was straightforward for two of us to put together and seems great quality.
The standard single mattress we have fits well on the trundle bed. However when we tried it on the main bed there was a large gap at the bottom. I'd advise careful measuring in order to buy mattresses that fit each part of the bed.
