Create a bedroom that works for you

Your bedroom should be a sanctuary – a place to unwind at the end of a busy day and start each morning feeling refreshed. The right wardrobe helps you keep everything organised and close at hand, from everyday essentials to special occasion pieces. Whether you're looking for a space-saving solution for a cosy guest room or generous storage for a master bedroom, our collection of wardrobes has been thoughtfully designed to suit every space and style.

Find your perfect fit

We know that every home is different, which is why our wardrobe collection includes single wardrobes for compact spaces, double wardrobes for everyday storage, triple wardrobes for growing families, and quad wardrobes for those who need that bit of extra room. Our popular Chester range comes in timeless shades including Dove Grey, Pure White and Classic Cream, while the Chantilly collection offers elegant painted finishes in Warm White and Pebble Grey. For those who prefer the natural beauty of wood, explore our Winchcombe range in Oiled Oak, Smoked Oak or Dark Oak, or the Inglesham Whitewash Oak collection with its hand-applied finish that enhances the timber's natural grain.

Built to last a lifetime

Every wardrobe in our collection is crafted using traditional techniques that have stood the test of time. We use mortise and tenon joints for superior strength and dovetail construction for drawers that open smoothly year after year. Many of our wardrobes feature full-width hanging rails in solid oak, spacious drawers for folded items, and adjustable shelving so you can tailor the interior to suit your needs. Whether you need space for long coats and dresses or prefer a combination of hanging and shelf storage, our designs offer the flexibility to work with your wardrobe. Plus, thoughtful details like soft-close drawers and a choice of handles – both painted wood and brushed metal – mean you can personalise each piece to suit your home.

Our Signature Cotswold Quality

Inspired by the timeless beauty of the Cotswolds, each wardrobe is made with care using responsibly sourced materials. We hand-finish our oak pieces to bring out the wood's natural character, and apply multiple layers of durable paint to our painted ranges for a finish that's built to last. Every wardrobe comes with our 15-year structural guarantee, giving you complete peace of mind. With delivery to your room of choice and all packaging removed and recycled, we're here to make bringing your new wardrobe home as straightforward as possible.

Can I request a paint finish or wood sample before purchasing?

Yes, you can request a free wood sample before purchasing. Wood samples are available for most of our ranges, allowing you to see how the finish will look in your home. You'll find the option to request a sample at the bottom of each product page. Samples are typically delivered within a few working days. You can also view our full list of available wood samples here.

How do I care for and maintain the finish on my wardrobe?

To keep your wardrobe looking its best, simply wipe it down regularly with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust. For any spills or marks, use a slightly damp cloth, then dry immediately. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, as these can damage the finish. For painted finishes, take care around edges and corners. If your wardrobe has an oak top, the natural wood will benefit from this gentle care to maintain its beautiful appearance over time.

What warranty is provided, and what does it cover?

This product comes with The Cotswold Company 15-year Structural Guarantee, covering all structural elements including frames, joints, hinges and handles. This guarantee gives you peace of mind that your furniture is built to last. Find out more about our 15-year guarantee.

Are the wardrobes made from sustainably sourced materials?

Yes, all our wardrobes are crafted from sustainably sourced materials. We trace the chain of custody from trader and logger right back to the source forest, ensuring all timber comes from licensed forests in countries where sustainable reforestation is part of the licensing process. Our oak comes from the USA or Germany, while our pine is sourced from New Zealand, Brazil or Bulgaria, depending on the range. Find out more about our wood sourcing.
