Product has a rustic, hand-waxed finish which is then sealed in clear lacquer to provide a rich hardwearing finish. The handles have an antique finish. Please note that each product is constructed from solid timber which will be inherently unique in its grain, composition and colouring, therefore each product will have variation in its appearance.

Really pleased with bench, heavens knows I waited long enough for delivery. Quality item, beautifully made and looks good in hallway. However really unhappy with communication from Cotswold, had to chase up order when past expected delivery date, still awaiting part of order and no indication when I can expect this. Meanwhile, Cotswold took money off my card at point of order. Really disappointed not up to usual service and will make me think carefully before I use them again.

Ordered the shoe bench online and chose the free delivery date in a very user friendly process.
I was kept informed by email about the delivery time slot. On the actual delivery day I was called by the driver who told me that he would be arriving withing 30 minutes. When the show bench arrived the two delivery guys unpacked the item, placed it in position in my hallway and took the packaging away with them. They were very friendly, professional and I could not have asked for a better service. The actual shoe bench is of a very high quality build and the self close doors are perfect. I would highly recommend this company and I will certainly use them again should I require any more furniture of this kind.

An excellent sturdy piece of furniture which has enhanced our entrance. Eight pairs of footwear can be stored, including ankle boots. After searching for a shoe storage cabinet for nearly a year, this is exactly what I have been searching for. The self closing doors and seat cushion add to the overall look of the item. Couldn’t be more pleased.
