Whilst we love the look of the new desk, unfortunately we found that the paint comes away quite easily and we've found that where the side of my chair brushes alongside the desk (left hand side of pedestal) we've seen that the wood is now visible, with paint been removed from the desk. We've only had this item for less than a month and I'm already having to buy touch up paint to repair it. Such a shame!

I thought this was going to be solid wood, it isn’t, it’s more of a laminate look on the front, the top looks like oak. Regardless, It is really solid and still looks beautiful. My husband loves it. It would have been much more expensive if totally oak so I should have known really. I would still buy it again.

Had to wait a bit for the desk to come back into stock. No problem delivering to the mainland Highlands, which can often be an added cost. Lovely well made desk
