Explore our ranges and styles

Our Chester collection remains a firm favourite, available in six beautiful colours including Dove Grey, Charcoal, Pure White, Midnight Blue, Forest Green and Classic Cream. Each finish pairs painted panels with oak veneer tops for a look that suits both modern and traditional kitchens. For those who prefer the natural warmth of wood, the Inglesham Whitewash Oak range showcases hand-applied finishes that enhance the timber's natural grain. If you're after something more contemporary, our Stow Warm White collection features soft-close sliding doors and a fresh, clean aesthetic.

Sizes and configurations to suit your space

We offer kitchen cupboards in three main sizes. Narrow single larders measure around 60-70cm wide, making them ideal for tucking into awkward corners or alongside existing units. Double larders at 110cm wide provide the perfect balance of storage and footprint, while our impressive triple larders at 142cm wide offer truly generous capacity. Heights typically range from 183cm to 210cm. Many pieces feature adjustable shelves, door racks, wine storage and pull-out drawers, giving you the flexibility to organise your space exactly as you need it.

Practical features for everyday life

Our kitchen cupboards are packed with thoughtful details. Look for fully adjustable shelving systems that adapt to bottles, jars and packets of all sizes. Door-mounted racks keep spices, baking trays and condiments within easy reach. Many designs include oak storage crates at the base – perfect for keeping potatoes and root vegetables cool and dark. Wine racks, hooks and dedicated compartments mean everything has its place. Some pieces, like our utility cupboards, are specifically designed to store ironing boards, hoovers and cleaning supplies, helping you keep clutter out of sight.

Built to last with traditional craftsmanship

Every kitchen cupboard is made using time-honoured techniques. Mortise and tenon solid wood frames provide exceptional strength, while dovetail-jointed drawers ensure durability through years of daily use. Oak and oak veneer tops are hand-finished with white wax oil to protect and enhance the natural beauty of the timber. Painted finishes are carefully applied to create a smooth, lasting surface. This is furniture built with care, designed to become a treasured part of your home. Each piece comes with our 15-year structural guarantee and all Chester designs include both wooden and metal handles, so you can choose the style that suits you best.

Can the cupboards be mixed and matched with other kitchen furniture in the range?

Yes, the cupboards in the Chester range work beautifully together. The range is available in Chester Dove Grey, Chester Charcoal, Chester Pure White, Chester Midnight Blue, Chester Forest Green and Chester Classic Cream, giving you flexibility to match or complement your existing kitchen furniture.

How are the cupboards constructed, and what joinery techniques are used?

This joinery technique provides extra strength and durability. The drawers feature dovetail joints, which further enhance the structural integrity and ensure the furniture is built to last.

You can upgrade to Time of Choice Delivery for £49.95, which lets you choose your delivery date (as soon as the next working day) and timeslot. Are finish or paint samples available to try before ordering the cupboards?

Yes, free wood samples are available for our cupboards. You can request a sample to see how the finish will look in your home before ordering. Samples are typically delivered within a few working days, helping you choose the perfect finish for your space.

How should the cupboards be cleaned and maintained to preserve their finish?

To keep your cupboards looking their best, dust regularly with a soft, lint-free cloth. For a deeper clean, use a cloth dampened with a mild detergent solution, then dry thoroughly to prevent watermarks. Never use solvent-based or abrasive cleaners as these will damage the finish. If your cupboards have a wax or oil finish, treat them periodically with a suitable furniture wax or oil to protect and maintain the wood. For more detailed guidance, visit our Wood Furniture Care Guide.

What warranty or guarantee is provided with the kitchen cupboards?

Your kitchen cupboards come with The Cotswold Company 15-year Structural Guarantee for added peace of mind. This covers all structural elements including frames, joints, hinges and handles. Find out more about our 15-year guarantee.

Are the cupboards made from sustainably sourced materials?

Yes, all our cupboards are made from sustainably sourced materials. We're passionate about using responsibly sourced timber and trace the chain of custody all the way from the trader and logger right back to the source forest. All forests are licensed and located in countries where those licences include sustainable reforestation. Our oak originates from either the USA or Germany, and our pine from New Zealand, Brazil or Bulgaria, depending on the range. You can find out more about how we source our wood here.
