Lovingly waxed by hand so the rich grain and natural markings can tell their story, it’s then sealed with a clear lacquer to ensure it stays looking good for many years.
Product has a rustic, hand-waxed finish which is then sealed in clear lacquer to provide a rich hardwearing finish. Please note that each product is crafted from solid oak and oak veneers, which will be inherently unique in its grain, composition and colouring. Therefore each product will have variation in its appearance.

To my horror, this arrived in a flat box. May be I didn’t read the small print? I have never had to construct a book case before and I have to say, despite my fears, this was very straight forward. The instructions were clear so I set to it. I am so pleased with how it looked. Until one of my carpenter friends gently pointed out that I’d put the top on back to front!!! Didn’t take me long to sort and it looks great. Really pleased with this book case. Now all my cookery books are in one place.

Good quality, robust. Did what it needed to do for us as we only had a small space. Easy to put together (so I was told!) so overall another successful purchase from the Cotswold Company.
