The frame is made of birch and a combination of other hardwoods and manufactured timbers. Joints are secured by using a combination of glue, screws, staples and dowels. Zig zag sprung base.

Delighted with purchase. Expensive and waited 10 weeks but chair is beautiful. Solid and comfy with very deep seat. I can curl up in it and am 5 8 in’s. Matches indigo rug from cotswold. great communication and delivery Definitely recommend.

This sofa looks stunning, and is just what I wanted. But I can't believe how hard and unyiedling it is. Having read the blurb with it, I understand it should soften up in time though. I also feel that is is tilting me forwards ever so slightly. All this being said, I am very happy with the sofa - it does give when you sit on it just not as much as I was expecting.
