The Elkstone Mellow Oak range showcases solid oak tops treated with a six-part staining process and clear protective lacquer. The Inglesham Whitewash Oak pieces feature a hand-applied whitewash finish with white wax oil to enhance the natural grain. We also offer the Berkeley Nordic Oak with wire-brushed solid oak finished in clear wax, and the Cotswold Essentials range with whitewashed hardwood.

Shoe storage capacity varies across our benches and cupboards. Our open shoe benches hold between 8-12 pairs, with the Chester Dove Grey open shoe storage bench accommodating 8 pairs and the large version storing 12 pairs. Cupboards offer 12-18 pairs of storage – for example, the Chester Pure White large shoe cupboard holds 12-18 pairs. The Inglesham Whitewash Oak hidden shoe cupboard features 8 cubby holes, whilst the Cotswold Essentials Pure White shoe bench includes 2 roomy shelves for plenty of shoes.

Our shoe storage benches and cupboards come in different assembly options depending on the product. Most items in the Chester range are delivered fully assembled, including the Chester Dove Grey large open shoe bench, Chester Dove Grey open shoe storage bench, and Chester shoe cupboards. However, some pieces like the Chester Dove Grey bootility unit and Chester hallway tidy require assembly. The Cotswold Essentials Pure White shoe bench requires minimal assembly. For solid oak pieces like the Elkstone Mellow Oak shoe cupboard, you'll just need to attach the legs – the main unit arrives fully assembled.

Our benches and cupboards come in a range of dimensions to suit different hallway spaces. For example, the Chester Dove Grey open shoe storage bench measures H60 x W110 x D35cm, whilst the Chester Dove Grey large open shoe bench is H60 x W140 x D35cm. Our Chester Dove Grey 3 door hallway cupboard is H200 x W132.70 x D38cm. The Cotswold Essentials Pure White shoe bench offers a more compact option at H50 x W80 x D35cm. Most typical UK hallways are around 90-120cm wide, so our smaller benches and narrower cupboards work beautifully in these spaces, whilst larger hallways can accommodate our wider pieces.
